Quibids scam reviews From real people
![]() | It's just that you have to know up front that it is a penny auction site, which is nothing like most auctions (where you bid what the amount you want to pay). Instead, you buy your bids up front, which is basically your costs to play. I'm sure that they see tons of profits when you think about it. 60 cents per bid is paid up front, so unless you are the winner of the auction (or utilizing the buy it now feature), the actual cost of the item sold is irrelevant in most cases. Its all about the number of bids placed.
Possibility of you getting it 1 in probably about 10,000. Please don't be stupid. You'll end up throwing money away. Spend some time reading how that site is run and watch some of the bids, it doesn't take long to realize that every time someone is bidding they're throwing money away. Stupid little knick knacks and gift cards are easier to win, but do the math. People end up spending more *CASH* to win a gift card that's less than what they put into it. It's not an auction, it's gambling. Nothing in this world is free, and if it's too good to be true...it is. If you want something you can't afford well, you just have to save. |
For example on Zbiddy you must pay 60¢ per bid. Bids increase in very small amounts (like 1¢) so there are always lots of bids. If you lose that item, you paid $6 for the right to bid. The website makes money no matter what the selling price. Next there is the matter of the items being sold. The site owns the items. Sometimes you will be notified that you "lost" the bid and you will see the exact same item come up for sale 2 minutes later. Which makes you wonder if anyone actually "won" the bid on the previous item. There is no way for you to know.
I can say that of the 5 things I have won (3 $15 Walmart gift cards, a $25 amc gift card, and an xbox 360 game), i have received all but the video game. (just won it about a week ago). The other items showed up within 3-4 days of winning the auction (weekend included).
